Chasing the brighter days....A hummingbird looks for sweet things and the vulture looks for the dead things. After beating depression, I really appreciate the simple things and now realise how important it is to be thankful not just every day but in every single moment. And that's what made me start this Blog. Sick of the sadness, the depression and the negative self-talk that plagued me. I'm on a journey to being thankful!!

Cherishing the Moment
Jack making morning tea ready to take out to meet my best friend from back home and her three beautiful children. With a take away latte in hand simply slotting back into the conversation we would have had the last time we were here...and the time before that and the time before that........children, husbands, housework, home, schools, family, fun and then......lots of reminiscing of dresses, concerts, all-nighters, flower power, laughter, bands, camping, parties and girls' chick-flick movie nights. Boy how our lives have changed but we wouldn't have it any other way. Time seems to pass by so quickly and children grow up so fast. Meanwhile we try to focus on remaining happy with where we our right now.
Time to say good-bye.....And these two little boys will now pester their mum daily and say "Please mum can we visit Jack and William again today?"
But it will have to wait till next time and we will be cherishing every moment once again

"William's Town"
Boy did we have some fun with William with this name of the town "Williamstown". Love coming here every time I go to Melbourne. Brings back so many wonderful memories visiting my auntie (mum's sister) and uncle who lived here many moons ago. Enjoyed the sunshine, the delicious "Melbourne coffee" the quaint shops, the view of Melbourne city on the horizon, the Victorian style housing and got to check out my cousin's boat - wow the boys really loved that! Absolutely perfect day!
