What a wonderful day

What a wonderful day it has been.  A relaxing start watching William at his tennis lessons.  He's awesome!  Catching up with his friends there - that is a big plus.  There is always a friendly competitiveness and lots of laughter.

Then back home... a few errands for Neil and a touch of housework for me.  There was just enough time to enjoy a sit down to relax, have a bite to eat and then off to Secret Harbour where Jack was playing football and what an exciting game it was.  They're great to watch!  The wooden spooners of last year have finally come into their own.

A chilled out avo with all of us just doing our own thing.  Some reading, some washing, some chilling with Indie and the odd ipad floating around on the scene. Then we had yummy pizza for dinner made by our favourite pizza maker - my husband!

They're my favourite days.  No big plans, no big expectations, just taking it as it comes and enjoying our own company.

Meet Indie

Indie was a rescue kitten. A few years back my husband and I went out one Sunday afternoon to wander around car yards in search of a second hand car. I hinted that there was an animal rescue place not far from where we were, with a flyby comment "but there won't be any kittens as it's not the right season"....but inside we found one tiny kitten amongst an array of dogs. She was irresistible right from the start!  By the way we didn't find a car! The boys and my mum were waiting at home -  "How did you go" they said.  'Did you find what you were looking for?"   To that my husband replied  "We sure did and it has a V8 motor that purrs like a kitten!"

I'm cute

mischievous...

 Not at all camera shy...

Quite inquisitive...

and love to explore!

And now I'm exhausted!...

Indie is all grown up now and is such a blessing to our family...

Each day I thank God for sending us Indie!!

My Day Off

Watered the beautiful garden Neil has spent so much time creating and the bonus at the end was collecting these garden fresh homegrown delights!

My turn to wash the footy jumpers!! Praise God for the Perth sunshine in May and for the Safety Bay Stingers Year 8 team's bold win against the Rocky Rams.

Admiring our beautiful garden!

Finally time for my regular Monday 'Jamaica Blue'... Bliss
